Excellent interview! These are mostly the same questions I’d want to ask.

I’ve been checking out PC software – freeware, shareware and paid – for about 23 years now, both for (software development) work use and also to share with members of the various SIGs at MelbPC (the Melbourne PC User Group). At first, this was for various tech. & programming SIGs, then for the New Users and Unix SIGs, but more recently mostly for the Graphics, Music and Animation SIGs.

The only other question I’d have liked to ask Samer was: “What are your main areas of interest?” This would perhaps give readers a better idea of the kinds of emphasis they’d be likely to find on Samer’s site.

Thanks, to both interviewer and interviewee, for your efforts in promoting free software! We all benefit.

Freewaregenius is one of my favorite sites as I respect Samer’s efforts and choices. We both have the same drive to continue finding and listing the best Freeware in category and keeping up with the constantly changing environment and Freeware offers. Great interview.

i have freeware genius in my top 5 links, i would check it on a daily basis, i would never pay for a app again after i paid for a program and it had a programming bug, but instead of just given the update free but they decided on a fee to upgrade and i’m talking about £270, if i use the free program and i use it often i will donate via paypal.
