It wouldn’t be due to your location. It is slow for everyone. The reason it is slow at the moment I believe is due to appaholic’s host and the less than lightweight wordpress install.

Regarding what you could review, you could maybe try reviewing twhirl or tweetdeck, but the problem with twitter clients is that they are all tailored for different uses and all have the same basic features.

Thanks for the quality feedback people.
I am very aware of the slow loading time for the site. I plan to get it re-designed this summer by a professional, and completely revamp every section of the site.

PS.: Page 7 (http://appaholic.co.uk/page/7/) has a little formatting error, you may want to take a look: apparently, font size has changed in html post code and extend it to the other ones, till end of that page!

I check the site quite often. Never RSS or anything.

One problem thou, since the update the page’s gotten unbearably slow. It took me 28 secs to load the front page, and even longer to get into this article. I usually load sites within a few secs.

I live in Sweden, so I suppose that might be the problem.

I read by rss feed, and I will usually only open articles that i find very interesting (out of 500 others) to visit the actual sites. Occasionally i open appaholic, but usually i read from google reader
